Jeffrey Duncan Bos

Jeffrey Bos is a values-based executive, facilitator, entrepreneur, and wilderness wanderer.

Trained as an ecologist, facilitator, coach, and wilderness guide, his work has spanned value-based sectors including finance, food, outdoor adventure, and culture. He has over 20 years of experience as a leader, facilitator, and executive with for-profit and non-profit organizations.

As a master designer, facilitator, convener, and wilderness guide, he has spent his career building the conditions in which complex, multi-stakeholder conversations can move — not just toward agreement, but toward something genuinely generative. He understands that the people most often on opposite sides of a system in crisis are also the people who most need each other to innovate their way through it.

Jeffrey has co-designed and facilitated 3 cohorts of the Climate Collaborative’s Regenerative Transition Community of Practice. He is the Lead Facilitator for Water Wars (how to avoid), an innovative, cross-community collaboration focused on bioregional resilience and regeneration in the Nooksack watershed. He is also a fractional Executive Team member of the Soil & Climate Initiative, where he leads the Growth & Impact Team. He has worked as a facilitator for Capgemini’s Accelerated Solutions Environment and is trained in a wide range of facilitation methodologies, including the Presencing Institute’s Foundations Program and U.Lab Process. Jeff was the CFO/COO of The Non-GMO Project, and Co-CEO of Acme Farms and Kitchen. He co-designed and co-facilitated the Global Alliance for Banking on Values, Leadership Academy.

Jeff has a Bachelor’s Degree in Ecology from Queen’s University, an MBA in Sustainable Business from the Bainbridge Graduate Institute, and was a Mel King Community Fellow at MIT in 2015-2016.

COURTNEY PINEAU

Courtney Pineau is a non-profit executive leader, facilitator, and movement builder who has spent more than two decades helping mission-driven organizations, leaders, and networks turn ambitious ideas into meaningful change.

Her career has unfolded at the intersection of food, agriculture, climate, and systems transformation. As Associate Director of the Non-GMO Project, she helped grow a young nonprofit into one of North America’s leading food certification programs. She later led Green America’s Soil & Climate Alliance helping to develop the Soil Carbon Initiative. Most recently, Courtney served for five years as Executive Director of the Climate Collaborative, working with hundreds of companies across the food industry to accelerate meaningful climate action. She co-developed the Regenerative Transition Community of Practice which is now in its fourth year and has served more than 50 companies.

Across these roles, Courtney has become deeply interested in what allows people to move from shared intention to collective action. She designs and facilitates experiences that help groups build trust, navigate complexity, surface new possibilities, and create the relationships necessary for lasting change. Her work is grounded in a belief that some of our most difficult challenges cannot be solved by any one organization or leader—they require us to become better at learning, imagining, and acting together.

Courtney holds an MBA in Sustainable Business. She is also a biodynamic beekeeper-in-training and is increasingly interested in what living systems can teach us about leadership, collaboration, and regeneration.
